Description
Sponsored L'Auberge de Montardon, or Chez Cluque as the regulars call it, is a typical Béarn restaurant. It's a no-frills affair, with generous plates celebrating traditional cuisine. Garbure béarnaise and salade landaise are served alongside blanquette de veau, confit de canard, poulet chasseur sauté, boeuf bourguignon and chipirons à la basquaise. Old-fashioned gourmet dishes brought back to life with quality ingredients, whether it's the meat (Blonde d'Aquitaine from Chalosse), the duck from Béarn or the beautiful vegetables grown in the kitchen garden by Chef Fabien Sarlatte. Open for lunch on weekdays and on the first Wednesday evening of the month from summer 2024, the restaurant offers an attractive formula with one to three dishes of the day and a starter and dessert to choose from the menu. Fancy a trip? The Chef regularly presents a dish from elsewhere, the fruit of his years spent in the islands of the Indian Ocean. Want to celebrate an event in style? At weekends, why not use our catering service to privatize the restaurant and its terrace!
