In an unassuming little street north of Pau, Xavier Larranaga and his partner Julie Dorgagnon run a delightful market table, as pleasing in its welcome as in its cuisine. The chef's seasonal slate rotates well, giving a good interpretation of the region, with a starter of morel mushrooms and crabmeat, cream of white asparagus, roast veal with vegetables and sauce, suckling lamb, asparagus, sauce and wild garlic, and a dessert of lemon, vanilla and meringue. Small cellar adapted with jurançon of course.
