Gourmet Restaurant Perched above the Quai de Grenelle in the very modern and spacious Yooma hotel, this colorful and lively Polichinelle delivers on the "promise of seasonal, vegetable-based, organic and gourmet cuisine" set out by its creators (Christophe Michalak and Aurélien Piallat, based on an original idea by Steve Burggraf, complemented by Jennifer Le Nechet's original fruit and vegetable cocktails, with or without alcohol). For €23 or €29 at lunchtime (two or three plates) and €44 in the evening (unlimited buffet), you can enjoy market-fresh, seasonal, hyper-local cuisine, using local producers and the gardener from the rooftop kitchen garden, who supplies the aromatic herbs, not forgetting to support a few nature-loving winegrowers too, through a small, well-chosen, thrifty and ecological wine list (mostly organic, reasoned or in conversion), in keeping with the spirit of the restaurant (a dozen choices by the glass). Like this pretty golden counter where you can come and help yourself, the restaurant is entirely vegetarian, with fried tofu replacing chicken in the Caesar salad, and vegetable tempura a dish in itself. Timut pepper, labneh, feta, pistachios, ginger, sesame and spices add Mediterranean or Oriental touches to several dishes, while desserts are more classic (pavlova, mousse, granité, panna cotta, tarte au mètre...).
