Description
Sponsored Carhaix is known for its music festival Les Vieilles Charrues. Now we also know the town for its Lou Pantaï restaurant! Maëva, her mother Géraldine and Maëlla, the pastry chef, have been doing their utmost to make you feel (very) at home here since the establishment opened in summer 2023. Simple and tasty at lunchtime, the cuisine becomes more bistronomic and elaborate in the evening, with a desire to bring a touch of modernity and originality to traditional culinary classics. The carrot-mango-ginger cod fillet is a succulent example, as is the pomegranate jelly tartlet with ruby chocolate ganache, to finish on a sweet note. The bill is very reasonable, and more and more customers are coming to Lou Pantaï ("Le Rêveur" in Nice), some after a 45-minute drive. All appreciate the excellent time they have here. As a result, reservations are recommended!
