Gourmet Restaurant A veritable UFO, just a stone's throw from the Étoile, between the chic avenues Kléber and Victor Hugo. But there's no need to get the Aston Martin out of its parking space and put on your Berluti shoes before pushing open the door of this Vieux Crapaud, where the owner sips his Ricard on a corner table while consulting the dozens of notifications arriving on a smartphone that, surprisingly, doesn't seem to have vibrate mode. Brought in by a waiter who looks as if he's just rolled out of bed with his cap screwed backwards onto his head, the plates are nonetheless very consistent, with classic frogs in parsley (the chef's passion and specialty), beef tartare with home fries and the toad's baba, which doesn't pretend to be rum-flavored, but is delicious and spicy with lime zest. Consistent prices, small, well-sorted cellar, with a touch of canaille.
