Description
Sponsored L'Ardoise is the place to be in Trépot. It's a friendly restaurant where you can have a good time, both inside and out on the beautiful, bucolic terrace, enjoying traditional recipes cooked with passion using mostly local produce. "We work in particular with Les Éleveurs de la Chevillotte and a local Aubrac beef breeder," says Chef Patrick Maendly. His suggestions include creations such as gambas flambéed with Pontarlier wine, fried pike-perch, Bourguignon-style beef cheeks and a scallop cassolette with saffron sauce. And, of course, fine butcher's cuts presented on a warm slate. We also love the elegant desserts and the carefully selected wine list. The unique menu at just €28, served for lunch and dinner, is a treat for every palate. What's more, it changes monthly. L'Ardoise also offers takeaway pizzas and a remarkable catering service. Both the dining room (30 pers.) and the terrace (60 pers.) can be privatized for all kinds of events.
