Olivier NASTI
Chef : 2 restaurantsBecause he has assimilated all the Alsatian codes, the virtues of work, family and respect for tradition, while always moving forward, Olivier Nasti has conquered the hearts and palates of Alsatians. In his centuries-old home, Le Chambard Kaysersberg, which he has turned into a gourmet palace and a landmark of French savoir-vivre, this native of Belfort is a tireless seeker of the right flavor.
As a teenager, he did a bit of everything to earn his independence, then joined the kitchens of Château Servin, in Belfort (15/20 in the 1980s). There, with Dominique Mathy, he learned the basics of the trade, before joining Jean-Yves Schillinger in Colmar (where he was second-in-command), then Olivier Roellinger in Cancale, before finishing this lovely tour of France with an essential stopover for all Alsatian chefs, the Auberge de l'Ill, the Haeberlin table. Olivier Nasti is approaching thirty and decides to open his own restaurant with his brother Emmanuel, a brilliant sommelier. The two men bought the Caveau d'Eguisheim in 1993.
The success was immediate and, in 2000, the two brothers acquired Le Chambard to take it, with the indispensable assistance of Olivier's wife and brilliant hostess Patricia, to one of the finest restaurants in France.
