The Best Hotels for a Business Trip to Nice

Between meetings at the OcéaNice convention center or the Palais des Expositions, choosing the right place to stay makes all the difference. Here’s our selection of hotels in Nice, the suit-and-tie edition.

Pierre Gautrand

We tend to think of Nice as a setting for British retirees and newlyweds on their honeymoons, the Promenade des Anglais as a conveyor belt of tourists, and the Baie des Anges as an Instagram wallpaper. But the city also lives, more and more, to the rhythm of suits and conference badges. From iconic hotels tailored for major events to practical addresses designed for lightning round trips, the capital of the Riviera handles serious business like no other, with the added bonus of being able to clear your inbox with your feet in the water.

Le Negresco

Since 1913, this privately owned palace hotel, a listed historic monument, has dominated the Promenade des Anglais with its unmistakable pink dome. Its 130 rooms and suites, each individually decorated in styles ranging from Louis XIII to modern art, house a collection of works by Dalí, César, and Vasarely. Nine customizable event spaces, from the Salon Royal (which can accommodate up to 600 people for a cocktail reception) to more intimate rooms seating 20, make it a highly sought-after address in the business world. The restaurant Le Chantecler (3 toques), led by chef Virginie Basselot, brings the workday to a close on a masterfully gastronomic note.

Hôtel Palais de la Méditerranée - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

On the Promenade des Anglais, this listed Art Deco façade houses 173 rooms and suites, freshly redesigned under The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. The business highlight: 1,700 m² of event space divided into seven modular rooms, six of them bathed in natural light, able to accommodate up to 936 people in theater-style seating. The Salon Vénitien, one of the largest in Nice, is suited to conferences and product launches alike. A fully equipped business center (printers, scanners, fax) rounds out the facilities. An indoor and outdoor pool, a gourmet restaurant, and views of the Baie des Anges let you extend the day after meetings without leaving the hotel.

Anantara Plaza Nice

The first Anantara hotel to open in France, this Belle Époque building, transformed by Nice architect Jean-Paul Gomis and the London studio David Collins, has 151 rooms and suites, most with a sea-view balcony. Around ten meeting rooms, a full spa, and a rooftop with 360° views of the Baie des Anges position the hotel as a compromise between work and the Côte d’Azur art of living. Ideally located on Avenue de Verdun, steps from Place Masséna and the Promenade des Anglais, the hotel places its guests at the heart of the shops-restaurants-beach triangle.

Maison Albar – Le Victoria

Opened in October 2024 in the former Boscolo Plaza, this five-star hotel in the Carré d’Or has 132 rooms and suites looking out over the Mediterranean or the hinterland. The event area brings together four modular meeting rooms bathed in natural light and equipped with the latest technology, accommodating 35 to 100 people. A rare privilege in the city center, a garden terrace hosts outdoor breaks. Halfway between the Promenade des Anglais and Vieux-Nice, the hotel favors the understated elegance of quiet luxury over ostentatious splendor.

Hôtel du Couvent

A former 17th-century sanctuary transformed after ten years of work and more than 100 million euros of investment, the only Palace in Vieux-Nice, renovated by Studio Mumbai and Festen, has 88 rooms and suites spread across four buildings. Its 122 m² plenary room, bathed in natural light, accommodates up to 100 participants in theater-style seating, complemented by adjoining rooms of 25 to 40 m² for workshops and smaller sessions. Roman baths, 2.5 hectares of terraced gardens, and cuisine sourced from its own organic farm provide a setting of rare serenity for unwinding between meetings. The airport is just twenty minutes away.

DoubleTree by Hilton Nice Centre Iconic

Opened in 2024 in the Iconic complex, steps from Nice-Ville train station, this 105-room design hotel squarely targets business travelers on the move: Monaco and Cannes are less than 35 minutes away by train, and the airport is a 15-minute drive. There are four meeting rooms on the 5th floor, one of which enjoys southern light and an unobstructed view of the city and the sea. A rooftop, the Pesca restaurant, and a fitness center complete the picture. A pragmatic choice for those who prioritize quick connections over the palace experience.

OKKO Hotels Nice Aéroport

In the heart of Grand Arénas, the Côte d’Azur’s international business district, this 135-room hotel faces Nice-Côte d’Azur Airport. Three modular meeting rooms (35 to 70 m², for up to 70 people) all enjoy natural daylight. The flagship concept remains the Club, open 24 hours a day: a bar, business corner, fitness area, and light dining served around the clock, designed for long days between two flights. Ten minutes by car is all it takes to reach the Promenade des Anglais. An efficient address for a business round trip with no compromise on comfort.

  • Starting at: €82/night

Novotel Nice Arénas Aéroport

On the airport side of the Promenade des Anglais, this 131-room four-star hotel, which holds the Clef Verte label, bets on logistics: a free 24-hour shuttle, a buffet from 5 a.m., and continuous dining until 11 p.m. Six modular meeting rooms, from 20 to 250 m², accommodate up to 230 people for conferences, with a business center open at all hours. The tram runs directly to Vieux-Nice and the Palais Nikaïa. A children’s area keeps work and family life apart on trips that combine both. No aesthetic pretensions, but built for seminars and tight connections.
