Signings, round-table discussions, prize-giving ceremonies, guest chefs... The Salon du livre de cuisine ancien et moderne returns on June 14 and 15, 2025 for a third edition rich in encounters.
The third edition of the Salon du livre de cuisine ancien et moderne will be held at the Marché du livre, in the heart of Paris's Parc Georges Brassens. Sponsored by culinary journalist François-Régis Gaudry and chaired by Guillaume Gomez, the event brings together over fifty authors, chefs, publishers, booksellers and enthusiasts. All will be presenting a wide variety of works: cookbooks, chefs' books, children's books, essays, old or rare works... Signings, meetings, round tables and events will punctuate this culinary weekend. Guest chefs include Alexandre Gauthier, Jean-François Piège and Christophe Hay. A unique event in France, combining antiquarian books and contemporary creations.

Designed for young and old alike, the show is open to all, free of charge, and offers a rich program.
Saturday June 14, 2025:
- 10.30am - 12pm: Signings by children's book authors
- 10.30am - 12.30pm: children's activities
- 12:30 pm - 2 pm: inauguration and awards ceremony with François-Régis Gaudry and Guillaume Gomez
- 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.: Signings and round-table discussions
Sunday June 15, 2025 :
- 10:30am - 12pm: children's book signings
- 10:30 am - 12:30 pm: children's activities
- 3 pm - 6 pm: signings and round tables
Two awards to showcase cookery books
Two awards will be presented during the show. The "La Cuisine ça n'est pas que des recettes" prize will be awarded to a book that combines cooking with a personal story, such as Boire les épices by Mathile Roellinger and Beena Paradin Migotto, or Olympe, une cuisinière libre by Anne Etorre. The youth prize will be awarded to a book aimed at younger readers. Finalists include Je sais cuisiner pour mes doudous by Martine Camillieri or Potions magiques à base de plantes et de fleurs sauvages by Géraldine Lemaître-Renault. The jury will be made up of 6 professionals from the world of literature and publishing, 2 editors-in-chief and a chef, Chloé Charles.
