The Bernard Loiseau group is offering two new restaurants in its home town. Both are in line with the company's commitment to making its culinary experience more accessible.

Two years after acquiring the Tour d'Auxois, a charming hotel at the gateway to Route Nationale 6 in Saulieu, the Bernard Loiseau group is installing its brand-new restaurant, Loiseau de Morvan. It will take over from the Loiseau des Sens bistro, previously housed in the Relais Bernard Loiseau. For Bérangère Loiseau, it's an opportunity to "give another dimension to this hotel". At the same time, a new chocolate and patisserie boutique has opened in place of the previous one at the group's head office. A way of bringing together more gourmet novelties, and showcasing "great chocolate-making expertise that was not at all showcased", adds the daughter of the famous 5-toque chef.

Accessible locations and experience

By opening these two new showcases, the Bernard Loiseau group aims to reinforce its philosophy of making available a foretaste of the Maison experience. Firstly, in the Loiseau du Morvan restaurant (2 toques), where lunch menus start at 28 euros. The spirit of the table also remains the same, "the menu and the team are unchanged, with Caroline Simon still in charge", explains Bérangère Loiseau. However, the setting has changed. Customers will be able to enjoy"a very beautiful view of the garden", she confides, "and there's a real symbiosis with the proposal on the plate. It's perfect for an authentic bistro!" enthuses the General Manager of the Bernard Loiseau Group.

At the same time, the Relais Bernard Loiseau chocolate shop is getting a makeover, thanks to a 25-square-meter extension. This time, the mission is focused on highlighting "the delicatessen range" in order to "showcase all the work that goes into chocolate", explains Bérangère Loiseau. To achieve this, the mission was entrusted to Lucile Vigilant, companion of Louis-Philippe Vigilant, chef of the group's 4-toque gastronomic restaurant. This extension is also a way of making the experience more accessible: "It's a Bernard Loiseau gift, handmade in the grand restaurant, with a price tag hovering around twenty euros", she confirms.
