With a panoramic view over Paris from the roof of Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, the airline inaugurates a place "just like on a plane". This ephemeral restaurant offers the opportunity to discover the menus for long-haul Business flights, designed by 5-toque chef Régis Marcon and pastry chef Nina Métayer.

An in-flight gastronomic experience

Air France is promoting French gastronomy with an ephemeral restaurant in Paris, perched on the rooftops of Galeries Lafayette Haussmann. The ambience has been designed to immerse visitors directly on board, in an outdoor lounge in the airline's colors and rounded shapes reminiscent of airplanes.

Every lunchtime in July and August, the menu for long-haul Business flights is offered on land (served in meal trays!), so that visitors can discover the menu featuring fresh, local and seasonal produce.

Menus designed by an exceptional trio

The menus are designed by Régis Marcon, chef of the 5-toque Régis et Jacques Marcon restaurant and member of the Gault&Millau Academy. They include a veal dish with a creamy morel sauce, spelt risotto and peas, duck lasagne and a trio of Camargue rice with lemon, vegetables, carrot and orange sauce.

Pastry chef Nina Métayer has imagined a spéculoos tatin for the July menu, and a feuillantine entremets for August. She explains: "For Air France, I thought of these desserts as real travel companions. I worked on powerful yet light pastries to give travelers a sensory escapade while evoking the charm of faraway destinations."

The wine and champagne are selected by sommelier Xavier Thuizat, Meilleur Ouvrier de France.

  • Four-course menu at 93 euros. Champagne, wine, coffee and water included.
  • Ephemeral restaurant open every lunchtime except Tuesday, until August 20, 2025
  • Galeries Lafayette Haussmann rooftop, 40 boulevard d'Haussmann, 75009 Paris
  • Access to the restaurant by reservation only, on theAir France website
