Chef Mory Sacko to be a columnist on France Culture this autumn
Mory Sacko will be writing a gastronomic column every Sunday on France Culture from the start of the new academic year.
Mory Sacko never stops surpassing himself. The 3-toque chef is taking on a new challenge by joining France Culture as a columnist in September 2025.
A column on a France Culture program
In September,Mory Sacko will join Caroline Broué's Les Bonnes Choses program, broadcast every Sunday from 12:00 to 12:30, in which he will have a column dedicated to gastronomy.
This is a new opportunity for the chef to showcase the cuisine that drives him, between gastronomy and culture. He explains: "I've always been convinced that cuisine and culture are inseparable. I'm delighted to be able to illustrate this point by hosting a column on France Culture's Les Bonnes Choses program this autumn!"
France Culture's director, Emelie de Jong, was equally delighted by the announcement: "It's a joy to welcome a talent like Mory Sacko to France Culture, who combines excellence and accessibility. I'm sure he'll pass on his passion to our listeners every Sunday."
A brilliant career
After taking part in the Top Chef show in 2019 in Paul Pairet's brigade, the chef has never stopped making a name for himself. He trained in several Parisian palaces, notably with Thierry Marx. Today, Mory Sacko is chef of two restaurants, reflecting the French cuisine he cherishes, his African origins and his passion for Japan. His work was rewarded in 2023, when he was featured on the prestigious cover of Time magazine, representing the most promising personalities of tomorrow.
Beyond the walls of his kitchen, the chef has also hosted a culinary program on France 3 since 2021, entitled Cuisine Ouverte, in which he showcases the heritage and diversity of French cuisine. This new column on France Culture is a logical extension of his passion for cooking.
