Winemaker Château Salettes has belonged to the same family since 1604. Bordering the Mediterranean, between Toulon and Marseille, at the foot of La Cadière d'Azur, the estate stretches over 40 hectares in a single block, surrounded by pines, century-old olive trees and broom. The terraced vineyards are protected from winter frosts by the nearby sea. The very dry, stony soil, a mixture of clay, limestone and crushed rock, makes Les Salettes a unique terroir. Bandols, but also IGP, are produced here with great regularity. A benchmark.
