Description

Olivier Belin, a qualified oenologist, has been cultivating the 8 hectares of his estate spread over 17 plots since 1997. He practices the "culture raisonnée" involving the use of cover crops and vinifies each plot separately depending on its soil (silty-clayey, clay-limestone or sandy). Lastly, in order to carry the best expression of the terroir, his wines are neither filtered nor chilled.

Gault&Millau's review
This generous wine offers both a golden yellow colour and thin and persistent bubbles. The nose shows aromas of freshly cut hay as well as white flowers like hawthorn. It reveals a good intensity with harmony. This cuvée would match well with a roasted Bresse poultry.

This vintage reveals fleshy aromas of venison. This is a blend of the three main grapes of the Champagne region, each of them bringing its characteristics: elegance, structure et and substance. This cuvée could be paired with a veal head with gribiche sauce.

Gault&Millau's review
The colour is pale yellow and the bubbles are thin. The nose shows aromas of citrus, grapefruit, white flowers and morning dew. This cuvée is a remarkable blend : the freshness is brought by the Chardonnay and the Pinot Meunier gives the structure.

The nose is fresh and harmonious. It reveals aromas of straw and chlorophyll with a hint of minerality. On the palate, the wine is well balanced and offers delicious fruity notes before a crispy finish. This cuvée could be tasted over an apéritif.

Gault&Millau's review

Gault&Millau's review
The yellow colour accompanies thin bubbles in the glass. The ageing in wood barrels is well-managed and remains discreet. The nose presents both smoked and toasted aromas. This wine has a strong personality and a remarkable presence on the palate. This cuvée could be paired with a chicken tagine and candied lemons.

Gault&Millau's review
The colour is deep pink. The nose is appetizing with notes of undergrowth, cherry and blackcurrant. On the palate, the wine is delicate. It would pair well with a chicken with morello cherries.

Gault&Millau's review
Issue de l'assemblage des trois cépages champenois, cette cuvée est à la fois crayeuse, fruitée et puissante. Un accord avec une viande blanche comme une côte de cochon charcutière sera le bienvenu.
