Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Founded in 1891 by George Jobert, the family business of Champagne Xavier Loriot is located in the heart of the Marne Valley vineyards. The 10.5 ha of vines are spread over the villages of Binson-et-Orquigny, Villers-sous-Châtillon and Reuil. Charlène Loriot, the fifth generation, has taken over the reins of the HVE3-certified estate, still accompanied by her father Xavier, who helps her with the winemaking. Milleunier is the grape variety of choice here.

At the heart of the winery
Maison Loriot works with a unique savoir-faire that has been passed down for generations: aging on lees in vats, little yeast used for fermentation and no temperature control. Charlène Loriot loves to work with Pinot Meunier, the emblem of the Marne Valley, and offers it as a single grape variety with the Cuvée Meunier intégral. Charlène will be delighted to show you around her estate with a visit to the cellars, followed by a lovely stroll through the vines.
