Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
As the heir to two great Champagne houses, Piper-Heidsieck and Taittinger, Virginie now crafts her cuvées alongside her son, Ferdinand Pougatch-Taittinger, who has served as cellar master at Maison Virginie T. since 2018. They source their grapes from the finest winegrowers in the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs, as well as from their own grand cru-classified vineyards. Together, they create characterful champagnes produced in small quantities. Based in Verzenay, the house welcomes you to “Le Cube,” the village’s iconic building, or to the Château de Challerange, located in Taissy.
