The nose is very pastry-like, with aromas of blueberry tartlet, blackberry jam and raspberry compote, with a toasty edge that appears with aeration. This is followed by aromas of roasted almond and hazelnut, sandalwood and spices. The palate is fleshy, but retains a pleasant tension. Notes of dried fruit follow through to the finish.
