Vazart-Coquart
The Vazart and Coquart families have been established in the vineyard since 1785. Camille Vazart was already a pioneer in the profession at the beginning of the 20th century, thanks to a large pressing center in Chouilly. The first bottles of champagne were produced in 1954, under the impetus of Jacques Vazart. His son Jean-Pierre, in charge of the estate since 2006, continues to refine his father's already accomplished style. A new press in 2015 and the complete renovation of the winery in 2016 ensure that we remain at the cutting edge of technology, as does the acquisition of terracotta eggs. The estate is certified HVE3 and, since 2020, in organic conversion. The estate now covers 11 ha of Grand Cru vines, mainly Chardonnay (94%), on the Côte des Blancs.
