Pierre Callot et Fils

Since Louis Callot, born in 1784, six generations have succeeded one another in the Avize vineyard. Pierre Callot created his brand in 1955, before handing over to the last of his four sons, Thierry, in 1996. The 5-hectare family estate is located on the Côte des Blancs, the kingdom of Chardonnay, with parcels on the classified Grand Cru terroirs of Avize, Cramant and Chouilly, as well as on Grauves, classified Premier Cru. The house vinifies, ages and bottles its wines cru by cru, not by blending parcels. This resolutely modern approach allows consumers to taste the differences in terroir within the house style. The domaine now offers an online boutique.
