This champagne is the fruit of a blend of the 2015 vintage with 2013 and 2014 reserve wines. Its very pale color is enlivened by rapid bubbles. After an initial nose marked by chalky notes, aromas of white flowers, baked apples and fresh almonds are revealed. The palate shows great finesse and lightness, with citrus flavors and a finish of citrus peel, rhubarb and honeyed notes. Perfect as an aperitif with smoked tuna buns or shavings of old Bellota Iberico ham. An excellent value for money, this fairly young champagne can be cellared for several years.

Petitjean-Pienne

The estate, located in Cramant in the Côte des Blancs, has been passed on for six generations. While continuing to work with his father, Denis Petitjean created this estate with his wife Dominique in 1981 and their daughter Marie joined them in 2004. They almost exclusively produce cuvées of Chardonnay.
