Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
This winery is a 50-hectare family-run business located in the heart of the Côte des Bar, in the southernmost part of the Aube department. Paul Dangin founded the brand in 1947, and subsequent generations have worked to build on its success. The estate is Terra Vitis-certified for its environmentally friendly viticulture. No fewer than eleven employees work to produce a wide range of champagnes made from the classic grape varieties (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier), as well as the rare Pinot Blanc, which is found in the “Cuvée Saint-Cyr.” The estate also produces a red Coteaux-Champenois.
