Très beau nez citronné et crayeux dès l’ouverture. En se réchauffant, ce 2014 offre des notes de citron confit, de fleurs blanches et pain blanc. En bouche, le vin se montre accompli, crayeux et juteux. Le dosage idoine permet une gourmandise qui ne ternit en rien la vibration de ce très beau champagne de repas qu’on ouvrira, dès maintenant, sur des fruits de mer, mais qu’on pourra aussi attendre.

Lilbert-Fils

The family has been established for several generations in Cramant, a grand cru of the Côte des Blancs. The estate grows only Chardonnay on 3.5 ha. Lilbert-Fils is one of the benchmarks, producing wines with strong minerality, very upright and structured, bordering on reduction. The average age of the vineyards here is around forty years. The "Perle" cuvée, produced from a special bottling, develops a smoother, less powerful mousse, which should be tasted. A few vines are also planted in two other communes classified as 100% Grand Cru: Chouilly and Oiry.
