This cuvée, entirely from Pinot Noir, presents a copper colour and offers a beautiful effervescence of thin and delicate bubbles. The nose reveals delicious aromas of crushed strawberries and nougatine. On the palate, the lively and crispy attack gives way to notes of small red fruits and toasted almonds. This is a balanced wine with a perfect dosage in sugar.

Lepreux-Penet

Louis-Gilbert Penet became a harvester and handler in Verzy following the 1929 crisis, investing in cellars dug into the chalk at a depth of 18 meters. His son Jean-Marie succeeded him, creating the brand. It is the union of his eldest daughter Florence and Jean-Paul Lepreux that symbolizes the current entity. The vineyard extends over some 8 hectares on the Montagne de Reims. Here, they are concerned with the microbial life of the soils, with a desire to combine modern production tools with traditional methods. Since 2017, the winery has been experimenting with amphora vinification.
