A very expressive, toasty-smoky nose is accompanied by yellow flowers, dried fruit and very ripe orchard fruit (vine peach and apricot). The palate is more restrained, but of immense finesse and elegance, with lactic and raisin notes. The finish is intense and straightforward, with a certain salinity. Drink as an aperitif with well-aged ashy goat's cheese.
