Gault&Millau's review
This small family estate of just 4 ha is located on the southern slopes of the Reims mountains. The vines are located in the communes of Louvois and Bouzy (grand cru), but also in Tauxières, in premier cru, where the company owns Clos des Fourches. The grape varieties are 80% Pinot Noir, with the remainder planted with Chardonnay. The domaine claims to take a Burgundian approach to champagne production, vinifying in barrel to "First make a generous wine, then add bubbles to make champagne". This philosophy produces champagnes that are full-bodied, but also very fine and saline. All wines are highly recommendable.
