The 2015 vintage is particularly sunny, making up 80% of this cuvée. The powerful nose carries this champagne with mastery. A matte old gold color gives way to sustained effervescence. The fragrance of predominantly Pinot Noir, at the peak of ripeness, reveals notes of reines-claudes, fresh citrus fruit and prickly pear. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, vinous and salivating. Serve with an eel matelote.
