A translucent old rose-gold color opens the tasting. The nose discreetly reveals notes of golden yellow fruit, with plenty of freshness. The bubbles are elegantly delicate and the mousse whipped up. The flavors are fine, with fine fruit and a clear mineral framework. With equal parts chardonnay and 50-year-old pinot noir, flavors of lemon and ripe yellow fruit clash and reconcile.
