A blend of half Chardonnay and half Pinot Noir for this lightly dosed Champagne (barely 5 g/l). The nose is reminiscent of damp chalk and white flowers, with a ripe bouquet. On the palate, the velvety, greedy texture of this cuvée from the fine 2012 vintage reveals rich, complex wines, like this one, which is perfect with seafood pasta.

Jacques Copin

Founded in 1963 by Jacques Copin and his wife Anne-Marie, the estate, located in Verneuil, is currently run by Bruno and Marielle and their two children. The estate's vineyards, ranging in age from 10 to 60 years, cover 10 hectares. In the vineyard, practices are reasoned, even organic and biodynamic when the year permits. In the cellar, old-fashioned methods (vinification in oak barrels) and modern ones (temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, microvinification) are combined to produce a wide range of wines. A large reception room and a motorhome area make visiting the winery easy, but you can also purchase champagnes via the online boutique.
