Gault&Millau's review
94/100
After a long stay on laths, this 2006 cuvée takes on a pale gold color with beautiful golden reflections, and deploys greedy aromas with lots of minerality. The second nose reveals notes of hazelnut, brioche, strawberry and fresh raspberry. On the palate, the attack is round and fresh, with good structure and plenty of youth. Notes of dried fruit and sweet spices are still revealed beneath a fine effervescence. The finish is long and reveals flavors of viennoiserie, brioche, toasted bread with butter and honey. This vintage is a great gastronomic wine, to be served with a dish of game birds with morels.
