Gault&Millau's review
Taken over by Frédéric Jorez in 2008, the Forget-Brimont vineyards now cover 19 hectares, mainly in the terroirs of the Montagne de Reims communes. Mailly-Champagne and Verzenay en grand cru, Chigny-les-Roses, Ludes and Villers-Allerand en premier cru, form the basis of the Forget-Brimont vineyard. Environmentally-friendly viticulture and selective vinification are the watchwords of the domaine. Blends include a minimum of 40% reserve wines, and bottles are aged between 30 months and 10 years in the cellar before release.
