The color is yellow with coppery-gold highlights. The nose is pastry-like (apple strudel, aniseed and cinnamon). The bubbles are like sugar-coated crystals, with a strong, mineral mousse. The palate is fruity (red fruits, pears), slightly woody and caramelized (caramel apple), but fresh and unoxidized. A comforting, friendly, happy wine.
