Gault&Millau's review
Isabey and his wife Zélia founded champagne Rémy-Dubois in Mailly-Champagne in the 19th century. Ernest Rémy took over the reins with his wife, Marie-Antoinette, and they decided to give a second life to this house steeped in history. Success was based on a commercial network developed abroad: Belgium, Switzerland, Holland, etc. In 1929, Ernest Rémy supported the creation of the Mailly cooperative - now called Mailly Grand Cru - but withdrew shortly afterwards in order to stay independent. The vineyards have increased to 15 hectares in the 100% grand cru villages Mailly-Champagne, Verzenay and Verzy.
