The color is pink, with a deep, coppery undertone. The first impression on the nose is vinous, with aromas of strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant on the more incisive side. Smoky, brioche notes follow, with citrus fruit (pomelo) and a hint of Earl Grey tea. The attack on the palate is supple and smooth, punctuated by very fine, thirst-quenching bubbles with the same fruity sensation as on the nose. A champagne for celebration and friendship.

This estate, founded in 1859, is based in Vertus, on the Côte des Blancs. Transmission, innovation and femininity (Sandrine Logette-Jardin is the cellar master) are the watchwords of this house, which produces over 3.9 million bottles a year, 60% of which for export. For over fifteen years, Carol Duval-Leroy has been working to modernize the production facilities, develop traditional distribution channels, diversify the range and expand exports. Today, assisted by her children, she continues to experiment with plots replanted with ancient grape varieties.
