A very fine 2002 vintage, celebrating its 20th anniversary, with well-preserved freshness and complexity. Notes of peach, rhubarb compote, pastry and roasted grapes follow on wonderfully. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, deep and well-laid on a fruity base that tends towards minerality on the finish. A very well-balanced bottle for this anniversary wine, to be opened with lobster au naturel.
