Gault&Millau's review
Dom Pérignon, undoubtedly the most famous prestige cuvée for the general public, appreciated for its opulent and brioche style, has always been a separate brand from Moët and Chandon. Each cuvée is a vintage, in constant search of balance between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, in the context of a single year, always seeking to create a perennial character. The exact production figure is a company secret, but is arguably surprisingly high for such a high level of quality. Richard Geoffroy, the historic cellar master of the house, left his place in 2019 to Vincent Chaperon.
