Gently roasted notes open up a charming, fairly ripe bouquet with aromas of nectarine, apricot and stewed raspberry. Toasted almond adds an extra touch of deliciousness. The palate is rich and unctuous, with candied notes of mirabelle plum and apricot. The bubbles are discreet, but contribute to the overall elegance, despite a slightly excessive dosage that coats the taste buds. Serve with dishes that will tone up the wine and smooth out the sweetness.
