Very pretty nose, with notes of candied orange peel, leather and sweet spices. The palate, punctuated by very fine bubbles, is marked by quetsche brandy and dried fruit. The wine shows a fine balance between power, maturity, freshness and minerality. Finishes with length and finesse. A gourmet champagne in its prime, to be enjoyed with a veal chop with morel mushrooms.
