From a Premier Cru parcel, this micro-cuvée develops a shimmering nose of beautiful citrus fruits, reinette apples, pastries (lemon tart), white flowers and honey. The palate is straightforward, taut, chiselled with the same aromatic character and silky, seductive balance, with plenty of freshness. Food pairing: langoustine carpaccio with grapefruit peel and thin slices of reinette.

Bruno Michel
Bruno Michel created this 12 hectare estate in 1985 in Pierry, a town 2 km south of Epernay, together with his wife Catherine. Since Bruno's untimely passing two years ago, the domain is now run by his daughter Pauline and her husband Guillaume Orban the Chef de Caves. Half is planted half with Chardonnay (including a parcel classified as premier cru), 40% Meunier, and the rest Pinot Noir. The couple's desire to respect the environment resulted in organic certification in 2004, using cover crops, green harvesting, composts, and herbal teas and plant concoctions to treat vine diseases. All of their champagnes are aged in tanks.
