Bright, pale lemon color. The nose seems herbaceous, on sourdough bread, creamy citrus peel and black and red berries. The mousse appears deliciously frothy, creamy and mineral. The palate seems perfectly balanced, with melted caramel and delicate cascades of mineral freshness, and an intense, airy, lemony finish with persistent finesse. A champagne for every moment of the day.

Bruno Michel

Bruno Michel created this 12 hectare estate in 1985 in Pierry, a town 2 km south of Epernay, together with his wife Catherine. Since Bruno's untimely passing two years ago, the domain is now run by his daughter Pauline and her husband Guillaume Orban the Chef de Caves. Half is planted half with Chardonnay (including a parcel classified as premier cru), 40% Meunier, and the rest Pinot Noir. The couple's desire to respect the environment resulted in organic certification in 2004, using cover crops, green harvesting, composts, and herbal teas and plant concoctions to treat vine diseases. All of their champagnes are aged in tanks.
