The nose is full-bodied and assertive, with wild rice, ripe plums and wholemeal bread. The amplitude continues on the palate, interweaving digestibly with the low dosage to form a uniform whole that marvelously reflects this grand cru with such a unique personality. The bubbles are pleasant and lively, without being excessive. The bitter finish gives this generous cuvée a solid, fruity feel. Pairs well with blanquette of rabbit and lentils.
