Gault&Millau's review
The winery was founded in 1976 by Bernard Lonclas, joined a few years later by his daughter Aurélie. The estate is located in the charming village of Bassuet, on a chalky terroir that the chardonnay grape particularly favors. The estate offers a wide range of champagnes made from 85% chardonnay, 15% pinot meunier and 5% pinot noir. Vinification is classically carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. All the wines are well vinified, and we regularly fall in love with the Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru, which offers a good balance between classicism and gourmandise. Personalized cellar tours and theme evenings are available.
