Barrat-Masson
This independent farm on a human scale (7 ha) was created in 2010 and certified organic in 2012. It is located south of the Sézannais terroir, in the Aube village of Villenauxe-la-Grande. The fruit of the union of Aurélie, oenologist, and Loïc, winemaker, its champagnes are marked by minerality and freshness, without ever lacking flesh. The vineyards are planted predominantly with Chardonnay grapes, and organic viticulture enables the character of the grapes to be expressed to the full. Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats, oak barrels and demi-muid, depending on the juice, but always plot by plot. The different identities are then blended to create the champagnes. Cuvées are produced without dosage.
