Sponsored Jean-Charles Laforgue cut his teeth in the gourmet restaurants of the Nord region before imagining "Mon père", an atypical restaurant conducive to letting go and relaxing, in the heart of Lille near the historic Grand-Place. The interior, decorated with antiques, features a large raw-wood table, the centerpiece of the place. The Maison's speciality is wood-fired cooking, which the Chef has mastered to perfection. Local dishes emerge from the semi-open kitchen in a ballet of flavors, thanks to the delicate, raw ingredients transcended by the fire. Jean-Charles offers a 3 or 5-step menu, different every week and highly personalized according to the desires of his guests, their allergies or intolerances. Working mainly with seasonal vegetables thanks to a close collaboration with his market gardener, the Chef also sublimates local meats and small peaches. He concocts blind plates to surprise the taste buds of his guests, who are carried away by a different culinary experience and a true voyage of the senses. Reservations by SMS.
