Sponsored This chic, understated restaurant, located in a bucolic setting just a stone's throw from Lille, is the result of a symbiosis between two chefs who have both worked in top restaurants, and who might otherwise have been pitted against each other: Maxime, a creative man in search of a distinctive twist, and Valentine, the guarantor of technical mastery. What binds them together is their desire to offer a warm, shared world of inventive bistronomic cuisine, homemade with fresh local seasonal produce and accessible to all budgets. "In Polynesia, mana is a symbol of humility and connection between people," they explain. And we succumbed to their power to sublimate the basics. Beef cheek confit is accompanied by almond milk polenta and spiced up with a virgin chilli and coriander sauce. Their revisited vichyssoise has become so emblematic that it can no longer be omitted from the menu. Surprises are also to be found in their desserts, such as the sublime Mont Blanc with porcini ice cream. With a €38 menu for such happiness and hard work, you'll want to come back again and again!
