Sponsored In April 2024, when the mayor of Saint-Georges-Nigremont was looking for a successor to take over the village crêperie, Timothée Ferracci was there. The young chef created a menu featuring local products: jams from Gourmandises de Maya, buckwheat flour from La Ferme des Combes, organic eggs... even the ciders are local! La Montagne Noire by Tim offers recipes that promise a journey through the French terroir (Atlantic, Breizh, Landaise...), also in the form of tapas to share, called Pintxos, a nod to Basque gastronomy influencing the cuisine of the Chef who started out in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and uses several products from this region. In this charming hamlet, perched at an altitude of 750 meters, the restaurant boasts a terrace, a veranda and a pretty garden with a breathtaking view of the Crocq region and the summit of the Sancy. Timothée takes care of tourists and locals alike, with a few watchwords: generosity on the plate, affordable prices and conviviality at all hours! Closed in winter.
