Sponsored Since 2023, the Daoul Bun Sik Korean restaurant, opened in the 2nd arrondissement by Mark Lee, manager and head chef, has been busy. "Many Parisians are looking for authentic Korean cuisine. Bun Sik means a type of restaurant somewhere between a bakery and a cafeteria. We offer dishes that can be eaten quickly and affordably," he explains. It's 100% homemade, using French or Korean products. The Corn Dog, a sausage with mozzarella, is very popular. Other specialties include the crispy Korean Fried Chicken and, more recently, the Korean Toast, "the equivalent of an easy-to-eat sandwich", explains Mark Lee. The 7-strong team has a great sense of welcome and hospitality. Students love this popular street food, which can be eaten on the spot in its typical decor, or taken away. It's advisable to arrive well in advance of opening hours, as the restaurant doesn't take reservations. The restaurant and its small terrace are often packed, such is the success of this gastronomy!
