Description
Sponsored Sommelier Laurent Tisserand could talk about wine for hours! In a former 19th-century grocery store in the 15th arrondissement, this enthusiast has just opened a restaurant and wine bar. Chef Vincent Laplanche, with over a decade's experience, works on protein and vegetarian balance, plays with tastes and challenges the codes of traditional French cuisine. The à la carte menu features seasonal dishes such as duck parmentier, oeufs en meurette, trout à la vauclusienne, and vegetarian dishes like panisses aux champignons. Dessert is the classic Paris-Brest. These dishes are accompanied by a selection of nearly 180 wines: "90% of them come from independent winegrowers. 70% are biodynamic." Cavapapa also offers a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages. Every Sunday, the wine bar is also open for oenology classes given by Laurent. The setting, a blend of old and new, is welcoming and convivial. And the owner is always on hand to give customers valuable advice! Festive evenings and privatizations on request.
