A neighborhood eatery well worth the detour, an old-fashioned bistro with red banquettes, wood panelling and a large, curved counter. The welcome is simple but friendly, and chef Matthieu Garrel offers traditional cuisine with a few personal touches. Dishes are presented on a large slate and two formulas are available: €45 and €65, the latter in 5 courses. Gourmet salmon ravioli, seaweed royale, then a melt-in-the-mouth beef cheek pot-au-feu style and to finish off a lovely freshness, sabayon and clementine sorbet. Japanese-style oysters and foie gras with cockles are just some of the signature dishes popular with regulars. To accompany the meal, a wine list features wines by the glass, including a Côtes du Rhône from Colombo.
