Sponsored This Franco-Asian tearoom, unique in Lille, invites us to settle into canapés as soft and smooth as the house specialty: putocake. Created by Princess Pagoso, the 26-year-old pastry chef and founder of Sweet Lady, putocake is a cross between puto, a savory steamed Filipino dish whose recipe was passed down from her mother, and cupcakes. The result is a sweet, airy and subtle treat, available in chocolate, vanilla, ube or pandan. Princess regularly creates limited-edition putocakes, like this summer's Cuddle fruity, a strawberry, basil and banana putocake to celebrate the arrival of fine weather. Working exclusively with seasonal produce, the pastry chef also offers Signature desserts combining French and Asian traditions (like her exotic Sakura tartlet, infused with cherry blossom tea), customizable bento cakes to share, Sando, a savory sandwich, and cookies, always at the crossroads of cultures! To discover Sweet Lady, opt for "Tea time": a formula with an assortment of 8 mini-putocakes, two drinks, two onigiris and two Signature desserts or cookies.
