Sponsored First in Bruay-la-Buissière and now in Béthune, Eric Mbokini has been promoting Cameroonian cuisine in the north of France for the past year. Working in tandem with his mother in the kitchen, he delights the taste buds with a cuisine that's tasty and spicy, but never spicy. Alongside beef mafé and grilled dishes such as the essential braised fish, Ô Saveurs d'Afrique offers Cameroonian gastronomic staples such as DG chicken - a stew of chicken, vegetables and plantain banana - and Ndolé, made from spinach-like leaves. A tasty cuisine that takes hours to prepare. Escapism is also present in the side dishes, such as steamed manioc or its grated variant, attiéké. Serve with homemade bissap, ginger or mango juice, or a beer, also from Cameroon.
